Best Kept Secret

Back in the summer, my friend Rebecca shared the tastiest oatmeal breakfast recipe with me. I am pretty sure the rest is history as I have been eating it every morning since! It tastes like cookie dough and sticks to your gills, keeping you full for hours! DSC_1377I have played around by adding different ingredients but this is my favourite version:

1/3 cup steel oats
1/3 cup skim milk
drop of vanilla
scoop of peanut butter
1 banana
scoop of flax seed
10 almonds
dash of cinnamon

  1. in a pot bring oat and milk to a boil. While this is heating up, mash your banana in a bowl and add in peanut butter, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla and flax seed.
  2. mix all ingredients when oatmeal is cooked! TAH-DAH!

(You can also soak oats in milk overnight)
